- Binder set up:
- Organize handouts and label 6 dividers.
Include: Binder title page, course outline, volunteer work, career tours. - Binder title page:
- Use wordle. www.wordle.net or wordclouds or worditout
- Open a Word Document and use 15-20 different words that describe you. DO NOT use words like "lazy, food, tired, video games". They must be words that apply to your personality
- include your name and make it large!
- Copy & Paste these words into wordle
- Print 2 copies in colour. One for the front cover of your binder. One for the inside of your binder. (You can make different ones if you prefer).
- Wordle Hints:
- The more times you type a specific word the larger it will appear on the wordle page.
- Words are separated so don’t use sentences. Only use single words.
- When you print your wordle use the print button in the program for it to print to print to full page size (don’t use the print tab in the file menu).
- Organize handouts and label 6 dividers.
Thinking about your skills/interests:
- Online skills tests: Complete any 3 online tests of your choice. You can complete more; 3 is a minimum. The more information you have the better matches we can make for you career wise. Print your results for each. Put in binder section 1: Careers.
- Summary of your Results. Use the results from all tests to complete your personal profile.
- Journal Topic 1. Complete your journal for topic Topic 1.
